1.Overview

The ENSIAS Alumni Survey V2 was developed as an enhanced version of the first edition conducted in 2022. The primary objective of this survey is to gather information about ENSIAS alumni and their career trajectories. This year-long survey took place in 2023 and was conducted over several months, spanning the entire year. It sought to gather data from a range of years, specifically between 2016 and 2022.

In comparison to the initial edition, this year's survey garnered participation from 312 alumni, a notable increase from the 224 participants in the 1st edition. This increment amounts to 88 additional graduates, equating to approximately 39.3% growth in survey participation.

To maintain the integrity and uniformity of the collected data, a key objective was set: securing 50 responses per graduating class. This goal was nearly met across all graduating classes, with the exception of the 2016 graduates.

Distinguishing this version from the first edition is the presentation of results. Unlike the earlier version, the outcomes of this survey were made available through a more interactive medium - a web application. This transition was facilitated by adopting an open-source template inspired by the state of dev MA, which significantly enhances the interactivity and data visualization. Users now have greater control over the visual representations and data filtering options, greatly improving the overall user experience.

It is crucial to note that the survey was carried out by the dedicated team at the ENSIAS Bridge Club, and it was undertaken with a firm commitment to protecting the anonymity and confidentiality of all participants. These measures were established and agreed upon with the participants to ensure their privacy and data security.

The project's overarching objective is to create a statistically grounded overview of the professional landscape, thereby offering ENSIAS alumni a clearer perspective on both the national and international job markets. This information, in turn, empowers more informed decision-making and discovery of diverse opportunities.
The ENSIAS Alumni Survey is a long-term venture that continuously accumulates data about the school's graduates. While this process may take time, it is cumulative, meaning that each successive edition becomes more precise and data-rich than the one that preceded it.
It's important to acknowledge that not all questions within the survey received 312 responses, and data distribution can vary among different study branches or graduation years. As a result, some conclusions drawn from the survey data may appear unusual, which is why each visualization provides clarity by indicating the number of samples engaged.

2.General Information

This section is dedicated to gathering essential information about our graduates, including their gender, year of graduation, and geographical location and other information.
This data will help us gain a better understanding of the demographics and distribution within our alumni network.

In the sample of graduate population who have completed our form, roughly 32% are female, with the remaining 68% being male. This distribution underscores a noticeable gender imbalance, with a higher representation of male graduates.
